Process

Stage 1
First Meet and Brief

Our first step is an initial site visit to meet and understand your vision. Prior to this, clients are sent a questionnaire and invited to put together a list of their scope, style, budget and ideas to be discussed.

Stage 4
Certification Documentation

Based on the scope of works for your specific project, some or all of the design may need to be approved by a governing body ie. Council or private certification. We package up a set of plans for formal approval, liaising with other external consultants throughout.

Stage 7
Furniture Selection

During stage 6, we move into the furniture selection stage, where we source and procure non-fixed furniture, lighting, rugs and artwork. We provide a plan set of furniture layouts and allocations, and a schedule of all items detailing suppliers, size, finish, price, lead time. We then procure all furniture, placing orders and overseeing delivery and installation.

Stage 2
Site Measure

We come back out to site to continue to familiarise ourselves with the existing space, and to take measurements. Sometimes you will already have a set of plans, however if not, we produce a floor plan in CAD of the existing space.

Stage 5
Construction Documentation

A full set of documentation is developed for construction purposes, inclusive of floor plans, electrical and plumbing layouts, joinery design and window and door schedules. Our finishes schedule is also finalised within this set.

Stage 3
Schematic Design Development

We call this our concept stage, focusing on combining our design philosophy and your vision for the space. This phase produces a concept package of visual direction through inspirational imagery, floor plans, sketches and finishes, fixtures and fitting schedules.

Stage 6
Construction Administration

Our plans are sent to our recommended builders for expressions of interest. Tenders received are submitted to the client for review, along with advice and support in selecting the appropriate builder for the project. During the build, we provide assistance, liaise with trades, review shop drawings and respond to all queries. We schedule regular site appointments for review of the process.
